Tales of Tajii: A Game

…Well, a platformer game, in the least

 No wait, a few levels of a platformer game. Almost like a teaser. But this is so cute ;~; I was very happy to commission it from kid-blue <3

 If you didn't know, Tajina is a writer whose creations come to life. There's a little tidbit in the chapters (not yet posted on devART) about how she got her flower in a meadow, and how Taij accidentally got it stuck in her hair and she's worn it in there all the time since then. …And so this game is about her collecting flowers. Because. That deep background story. About flowers.

She was running through the station when she spotted him from the side. She'd just gotten herself a bag of pretzels and was munching contently on them when she caught sight of him out of the corner of her eyes. She could instantly recognize him because of his black and white clothing. He would definitely stand out in any crowd. There were a group of girls gathered around him, smiling and laughing. He in turn, did nothing but smile awkwardly at them. She could not tell whether he was trying to avoid them, or if he was simply socially awkward.
Then, the boy had turned and was looking at her, his large sky blue eyes spotting her instantly. For a moment the two were locked in each other's gazes, and then the boy was waving at her, his smile still there but a lot wider now. She was sure that she would be able to feel the happiness radiating from him even a mile away. How did she know? She knew him better than anyone else, probably even better tha
