B/W VS. COLOR CONTEST!!

EDIT: Well... I never thought this would happen but um..

The number of entries exceeds the limit I can hold on my journal XD So.. I can't place them in one journal now, and making two different journal entries would make it very confusing to judge everyone~ So I'm just going to start adding on the frontpage ^-^ You can find it on the B/W VS COLOR collection on my page now~! <33</sub>

INTRODUCTION:

And~ Here we go again; another contest! This time around, it's going to be another one of my drawing contests~ With a theme that's more open and allows you to draw almost nearly anything you like~! >w< Also, any type of mediums are allowed~ So I don't mind if you use photography, or even a bit of poetry XD I just hope that everyone has fun~!


OBJECTIVE:

When you first think: Black and white VS. Color, what comes to mind? Does B/W somewhat resemble darkness? Is it always color that takes over in a situation between the two~? Or are the two somewhat equal? It's all up to you~! <3 For this contest, you'll be drawing your own interpretation of the theme, B/W VS. Color ^^ You may use ANY TYPE OF ART FORM, and ANY CHARACTERS you decide on. This means that you don't have to draw my Official characters. If you decide to draw, you can draw YOUR OWN OFFICIAL CHARACTERS, FANART... etc. Basically, anything's allowed XD


MEDIA ALLOWED:

As I've stated up above, ANY TYPE OF MEDIUM MAY BE USED. This includes visual art forms like drawing, painting, etc... and also art forms like photo minipulation. Literature is also allowed; but it has to be very descriptive since it has to support the theme @^@'

RULES/REQUIREMENTS:

Your theme must represent or support the B/W VS. COLOR theme. How you go about representing it is about to you~! <3
_{- Some ideas of representation are using colors and the B/W colors as some kind of equal idea. Perhaps having one character represent B/W while another character represents color... Remember that I'm also judging on creativity~! So try to come up with the most creative thing possible!}

The idea behind your interepretation of the theme must be clear.
_{-In other words, I must be able to tell which side is more dominant in your work; or if the two are equal. ALSO, BE SURE TO ADD INTO THE DESCRIPTION WHICH SIDE YOU THINK WOULD WIN. IF YOU ARE DOING AN EQUAL DRAWING OF THE TWO, THEN PLEASE STATE IT! (This is so that I'm able to see if your work matches up with your concept <3}

You may use any type of art to represent the theme; as I said up above.
_{-You may choose to use your own characters as a representation, or maybe even do some fanart~ So long as the credit to those characters is given <3
-This also means that any TYPE of art form may be used. You can also do a collaboration of two art themes; like combining photography with drawing.. It's whatever your preferences are!}

No Hentai, etc... allowed ^^'

PRIZES:

As of right now, the prizes are undecided ^_^ For sure, you'd recieve the drawings and features from me, but I'm still thinking of doing more things >w<
