About future giveaways

I've been thinking about this for a little while, but there are some things I'd like to change about my giveaways in the future. These are mostly my own concerns, because in the end, these giveaways end up being more unfair than I planned. ;; Originally, I wanted to do these giveaways for people that were still supporting me here on the website, and-- don't get me wrong, I love giving away random things too-- but the giveaways don't particularly fulfill their purpose. Instead, I (understandably) give them away to very new watchers, most of whom just watch me for those said giveaway journals. Or in any case, I don't hear anything from the majority of them, anyways. Or don't see their name pop up anywhere in my inbox for any other reason than those journals. 

So I've made up my mind to stop doing these random giveaways just for the fact that their original purpose was to thank those that were still actively giving me advice/commenting/talking to me for their support. Like I said, in favor of being neutral, I end up giving them away by random number on a journal which a bunch of people comment on-- and then disappear shortly after. If I do end up continuing those giveaways in the future, they'll be more sparse and not very frequent.

Instead, I'm just going to hand out two random subscriptions a month to watchers/friends whom I know a bit better ;; In other words, people I actually converse with/people who support me beyond the reason of giveaways.

Thanks to all those that found me through those giveaways for your support, but unfortunately I'm going to cut doing them in the same 'watch for subscription' chance like this in the future!
